  2. You need 2 1/2 cup of sugar (brown).

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Wash, core, & cut apples into very thin slices then set aside.
  3. Beat egg whites till soft peaks form.
  4. In another bowl, beat egg yolks then little by little alternately add sugar then milk.
  5. Add oil + vanilla + flour & mix well.
  6. If to use bananas: Add 5 mashed overripe bananas + banana essence.
  7. Beat till creamy but not over dry.
  8. Grease pan with margarine & sprinkle with some flour (so that it doesn' stick).
  9. Pour cream mixture and fold egg whites (one direction only) till it becomes a soft cream.
  10. Top with the slices of apples on top.
  11. Bake 40-50 minutes or till toothpick pierced at center comes out dry.
  12. Cool.
  13. Put on serving dish and sprinkle with some powdered sugar.
  14. NOTE: Best served after 1 day.
